@frostedechoes I fear it’s a self-fueling problem. The less the institutions are able to care for the individuals, the less they are likely to matter. @crossingthethreshold I think it’s a world-wide problem. Some of it, I fear, is that “everyone” has their own window into the world via their screens. For some, it’s all they have.
