Sometimes I’m with Uncle Rico, thinking- let’s get back to 1982. ✨⏲✨

@jeannie @odd I don't have any memory of 1982 because I was a baby then, but I do know my parents bought a house for around $10K and were in relatively good health, so yeah, I can see your point.

@jeannie Oh, I didn’t think about that… Back then I wasn’t old enough to have a loan. Maybe a parallel universe 1982 would be better.

@KimberlyHirsh I was 13, and I tried a computer for the first time, and the possibilities seemed endless. We had moved in to a new house four years prior, and I discovered that I had my own musical taste. My parents also were in much better health.

@odd I was 1. However, I also had my first computer at 13. It was from Tandy’s lol

@Munish I don’t know what Tandy’s is, it a toy company? 😅 I didn’t own a computer until I was 23 as a matter of fact. The one I tried using at 13 was a Commodore VIC 20, that a friend’s father had borrowed from where he worked. It was very fun though.

@Munish Oh! I’ve heard about the TRS-80 before. Thanks for the link! Interesting history.
