First job for audio / podcast AIs … once I have my recording the AI should automatically remove ;
‘You know’
‘I - I - I’
‘Yeah’
‘Da da da’
… and all the rest of the extraneous crap that people pepper their dialogue with.
Would take 20% out of the length of a podcast.
@JohnPhilpin Cleaning up false starts in AI-generated transcripts is the most tedious part of my job. (I love my job.)
@KimberlyHirsh thinking about I don’t even need AI - a simple rule
if i say 'da da da' - delete it and close up gap
if i say 'you know' - delete it - and close up gap
Repeat for all annoying phrases that people use excessively when talking!
@JohnPhilpin Uh oh. You know how you wanted to auto delete some phrases? Then you know there will probably also be some false positives… 😆
