@hamtron5000 Seems like you’ve taken action to fight it. That is a good sign! Hope you’ll actively seek out more things that brings you, if not joy, then at least a little contentment. I’m a big guy myself, and have been diagnosed with depression many years ago, so I can relate a little. With good help, and massive effort, I pulled myself out of it. Don’t be afraid to ask professionals for help, but make sure they are a good fit. Actively seek out reasons to feel better, and stop doom-scrolling, if you do that.
@odd yeah, i'm working on it but it is extra bad lately. i think the state of the world (or at least the US; i just don't know how it's going elsewhere in the same way) is making it worse. i do have a therapist and meds and maybe it's time to tweak that stuff. also thinking about trying ketamine treatments; they dramatically helped someone i know.
