@odd I think they are only selling vinyl on bandcamp, but it’s probably on all the streaming services. It’s metalcore from the heyday of Christian metalcore.
@toddgrotenhuis I forgot, metalcore isn’t for me. It’s probably unheard of, but you don’t know of any Christian Doom/Sludge bands? Doom, but with hope, so to say.
@odd I don’t listen to a lot of the slow/doom/sludge stuff (though I have some non-Christian exceptions like Shape of Despair) closest is probably atmospheric black metal. Have you checked out Within Thy Wounds?
@odd oddly, I like Impending Doom, but they are not doom, but Christian death metalcore/deathcore. 😆 Genres are funny.
@toddgrotenhuis 😂 I’m listening to Shape of Despair now (never heard them before), and I like “Return to the Void” at least. Will listen more to them. Checking out Within Thy Wounds afterwards.
@toddgrotenhuis Oh, many choices here! Thank you! I liked the music of Within Thy Wounds by the way, but I didn’t find the vocals very inspiring. A band I used to listen a lot to many years ago popped up when I searched for them in Apple Music: Manowar.
