I’ve said before that iOS badly needs a fast way to collapse the selection (either forwards or backwards). What it needs even more is a way to paste the contents of the clipboard at the insertion point without having to tap the screen (and risk moving the insertion point).

@artkavanagh Two things you might not know: you can move the insertion point more easily by tapping and holding the space bar and then moving your finger. And to paste, you can touch the screen with three fingers and spread them apart.

@odd Yeah, I know! 🤯 There are a lot of hidden tricks like this. The keyboard as a trackpad feature arrived with iOS 12, and paste by spreading your fingers was introduced in 13.

@sod I’m so glad I don’t have to use that suboptimal context menu for pasting anymore - thank you!

@sod @odd Hey thanks Sven. It will take me a while to get used to that three-finger gesture but these are exactly what I wanted. Brilliant!
