@odd I live in a street with houses, tenement flats, on one side. No houses on the other side. The house numbers are all even. Ours is first close (entrance) and is number 4.

So now days we have a gated structure, just as so many other facilities have had to convert to. Needless to say how much is underground on Downing Street and how far down it goes are covered by the Official Secrets Act.

Does it go all the way down? 🤔
