This is probably a symptom of getting old, but I find getting Black Friday emails (a) in the UK and (b) on a Monday slightly confusing.
@adders We’ve not only had “black friday” for a number of years here, but also “black week”, and wouldn’t you believe it, this year some company launched “black weeks”. So the question is: how long until “black year”? And this in a country that doesn’t celebrate the holiday it is associated with. I’d rather have thanksgiving.
