@maique Those are good memories! It reminds me a bit of my own childhood, only that we took much shorter trips, and there weren’t many beaches. We had several trips across the border to Sweden, and once to Finland. Else, we just took little trips to a place nearby, and camped and cooked coffee (us kids had a soda) and ate some buns that my mother had made.
@maique It was! 😊✨ They always had some “exotic” spreads or sodas, and what not in Sweden, so that was always exciting, and we could drive in 110km/h! Where I lived, the max at that time were 80. (Insert giggling kid emoji here*)
*) There ought to be one.
@odd You know that’s something I still love to do now? Checking what different snacks and drinks people have available on their own countries! Trying different cookies and whatnot is still a favorite activity when abroad!
@maique Yes! I especially remember the blue sodas they had in Sweden! “Vira Blåtira“ looked like antifreeze, and I heard of a Norwegian guy that bought it in Sweden, then took an empty antifreeze canister, cleaned it, then put Vira Blåtira in it, together with moonshine, and took it to a party! They also had “Fantomen-brus” (“The Phantom”-soda) in Sweden, but it wasn’t that blue. 🥤🇸🇪
