One thing I hope that comes back to movies is the independent personal films. We have enough comic book movies, reboots, franchises, sequels, and adaptations. I want original scripts and films that isn’t just a cash grab.

Here’s hoping filmmakers manage to make this happen. 🎥

@JeffPerry Does it exist a way to get “royalties” for the longevity of a movie, rather than opening weekend / cinema run? Many of the movies people love and watch time after time did poorly in the original cinema run. If not, I hope there’ll be incentives for this to happen, especially now, with all the streaming options. 🎥🎞

@greghiggins I doubt it, there are a million original ideas on social media and even more spec scripts just not being funded.

@odd I was hoping Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services would Zig instead of Zag and make things that other big time studios weren't making. It is happening a little but not enough imo.
