@terrygrier Thanks! 😊 I’m your age myself, and 291 pounds at the moment. Thank you for the link also! I’ve been reading You are your own gym, with body weight training, but stopped short of the actual exercises. Have begun slowly being more active after years of stagnation. Good luck on achieving your goals also! 🤞😌🍀

@odd one step at a time. Diet is 90% of it .. as you know but as we age we need strength. Helps us live longer :)

@terrygrier Live long and prosper! 💪😎 Yes, my diet isn’t actually so good. It’s not for lack of knowledge, it’s more circumstances and other life challenges, but I’ve started. I looked at the list of videos that guy had and boy he’s a bit intimidating! 😳 But wishing won’t get me where he is. Time to do stuff!

@odd I started a year ago doing pushups on the wall. Email me if you want and I can send you a basic - routine that can get you started. My micro name with @ icloud on it.

@terrygrier Thanks Terry! I’d like that. The exercises in the book that I’m reading (You are your own gym) doesn’t seem to be made for big (fat) people like me. I’ll send you an email.

@ajennische That’s good advice. I have just started walking a bit, but I’ll have to take it moderately in the beginning.

@odd that’s good. Be moderate in the beginning and add distance little by little.

@odd walking beats anxiety too. It does, for real.

@ajennische I believe it to be true. It’s only I’m anxious about going out. I’ve done it many times though, so it’s not that I can’t do it. 🚶🏻‍♂️
