Roger Waters Says He Turned Down Instagram Offer to Use Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall” in Advertisement.

I wonder if anybody at Facetagram knows - or even looked up - the lyrics?

@JohnPhilpin Didn’t the GOP want to use/use Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA” once also?

@JohnPhilpin Probably not, but neither would most of the people hearing it. I mean, people get married to songs like "Every Breath You Take" and "November Rain" all the time without considering there meaning of the lyrics.

@JohnPhilpin It’s not always that I can make out, (or bother to make out) the lyrics of songs, but it’s hard not to catch a chorus, I get that, but if you’re going to use a song in your political campaign, you better be clear about all of the lyrics. Unless of course, one see it as just fitting that the protagonist of Springsteens song gets this done to him.
