@alexsavin If I remember correctly, they used to announce refreshed Macs at WWDC, but if they did, that was years ago.

@odd yeah so Tim mentioned a 2 years transition to M1 chips, and we are at year one yet, so my bet is newer and more powerful chip for larger MBP:s and Macs would be coming around autumn at the earliest. There was a chance they'd release 16'' MBP on the same M1 chip, but clearly this is not the route they are taking.

@alexsavin I guess you’re right. I was just thinking «what better time to have a 16” MBP ready than WWDC?”», but of course developers are only a fragmented of the user base, and the rest of the potential users are probably not planning to buy a new computer just before the summer, and maybe there’s a updated chip awaiting the 16”.
