Gah! I’ve been doing nothing but doomscrolling since Jan. 6th and neglecting reading, writing and other tasks. It will be nice to get to a place where every day isn’t some new train wreck and back to a world of pics of cats, puppies and unicorns farting glitter.
@bradenslen That’s not good for the emotional well-being… I try my best not to be tempted to do that. I keep my RSS feed pretty groomed as not to go down in the emotional cellar. I’ve been off Twitter and Facebook for years now.
@odd I understand. However, this is about my country and I feel the obligation to bare witness at the very least.
