AI made me replace another subscription: Ulysses: meta.numericcitizen.me

@numericcitizen I’ve honestly never figured Ulysses out. I’m not depending on it as writing organization tool I thought it’d be. I’ve come to like MarsEdit for posting here, but I still need to figure out how to handle things like newsletters, or essays that aren’t ready for prime time.

@WiredDifferently i am with you - i gave up on Ulysses a long time ago and have been using Craft a lot. BUT iAWriter, Obsidian, Mars Edit, Drafts all co exist on this hard drive - as well as the ‘end’ apps - MicroBlog, Obsidian, Pages ….. it is a mess.

@JohnPhilpin one of my biggest ugh habits is that I am definitely a sucker for productivity porn - always looking for the best app the best workflow the best iOS shortcut…at one point I had like 300+ shortcuts on my phone and regularly used maybe like 5 of them lol

@numericcitizen That’s a good idea. I’ve got a few things in draft. What I really need to do is pick a spot and land on it-consolidate from apple notes and paper notebooks and more paper notebooks and apple pages docs etc 🫤

@WiredDifferently I am looking forward to ‘next OS’ ..where Shortcuts become simpler I just can’t get into them.
