I wouldn’t be surprised to see Apple come up with Siri+ or to take a cut on third party AI offerings that support iOS 27 new AI-related features. I would probably plug my Claude AI subscription into this provided Anthropic support is enacted.

I use a combo of Openrouter API and OpenLlama local hosted APIs in an agentic flow that allows for “local first/cloud most” settings The first OS that offers user-level agentic API access, wins. Imagine having my locally hosted AI be able to create a Shortcut script for itself.

@numericcitizen Probably not… But with what’s already available, it wouldn’t be hard to use whatever they gave us to hook into our own infrastructure with Shortcuts. We can kinda do that now, so they may as well throw us a bone for real…
