For a few reasons, I’m tempted to subscribe to… The Verge. This would be the first such case of subscribing to a news site. I kind of like the site design and content; there is a community vibe if commenters are any indication. @numericcitizen I jumped aboard at launch. The ad-free, full content RSS feed was worth it to me. Getting all their new newsletters (also via RSS) has been nice.

@numericcitizen I subscribe (both for interest and because of work). Don’t see ads on the site but I run ad blockers as a cybersecurity measure, so can’t speak to how many remain post-subscription. Definitely get them in podcasts.
