I am considering making more of a distinction between micro and macro posts on my blog. While I really like my index to be chronological within a day, I’m not sure if the experience of mixed short posts and long posts works. Anyone who reads my site have an opinion?

@jsonbecker I don’t mind having them intermixed. Personally, I do keep them separate (here for short posts 95% of the time and on my main website for more deep dive stuff).

@jsonbecker I've debated the same. I settled (for now) with keeping them together but having a separate category in the navigation for the longer posts.

@jsonbecker I like the mix between the micro and macro posts. But how you like it is more important coz you are the one who will most likely see your blog in the browser more than others.

@ericgregorich I do have a separate category and RSS feed. This is more about does the home page work with them mixed.

@jsonbecker I’ve been thinking and working on this a few days ago. Since my Hugo-chops are non-existant, it got me nowhere. I found your pull request to make this possible in Tiny Theme. So I wait for this to become available.

@jsonbecker I’ve been considering trying to figure out how to implement a toggle so that the reader could choose to show micro/macro/both.

@jsonbecker I think having both works: a separate category for those who want to find the meatier posts, and intermingled in the feed so that others can discover them serendipitously.
