I’m fascinated by the lack of visual updates to Gruber’s Daring Fireball website. I mean, he has been using the same design like forever! And then I look at Micro.blog users here constantly trying themes or even building their own and tweaking it often. I’m not particularly fond of his design choices but h... blog.numericcitizen.me

@numericcitizen His website is terrible. I cannot read it straight from the page. His writing is also not what it once was but he has achieved critical mass so can get away with it.

@canion @numericcitizen Seconding all of this. For someone who’s as big a voice — and knowledgeable — in the tech world, you’d think Gruber would remember those of us, including himself, who use mobile devices to view the web. His writing lost appeal with me long ago, but like you said it doesn’t matter what he spits out these days.
