The rumoured launch of a 15-inch MacBook Air this early Spring brings me joy and excitement. As an M1-MacBook Air owner, I understand the actual value of a lightweight and mighty Mac. I’m not looking for a much more powerful machine, but a bigger screen in a still-light package is somet... blog.numericcitizen.me

@numericcitizen Same. My now 1yr old 13" M1 MacBook Air is still a champ, but I'd really like a bigger display without the Pro price tag. For the extra cost, if I had to choose between more RAM or more screen, I'd take the latter. My 8GB M1 machine has zero performance problems.

@jasonmcfadden 👍🏻 (welcome back! BTW, I'm planning a year-long process of moving out of WordPress to Ghost. Will focus on Ghost and MB in the future).

@numericcitizen I noticed that. I tried Ghost and it was a top pick for me in leaving WP. Ended up on Blogger! Now Micro.blog; will focus here as my base.

@abc 1) Cost cutting. 2) Too much management. 3) Better UI on Ghost. 4) Ghost's newsletter integrated support to be used for certain blog posts. 5) Consolidation and focus on less platforms.

@numericcitizen Mine too, circa 2006. Blogger is mostly the same today, though some features were deprecated. Google’s not killing it but seems to be neglecting it to death (since decoupling it from Google+). I’m still nostalgic for that classic blogosphere.

@numericcitizen MacBook Air with a larger screen is compelling. But you will have to compromise on power and battery life. I do like playing Divinity Original Sin on my 16-inch M1 Max MacBook Pro and it can last just enough for a single gaming session. A smaller battery would be worse. I also don’t like if there’s too much choice in the lineup.
