I have an AppleWatch dilemma – also am I just old fashioned? What should/will I do?

@ronguest I also have a Series 0 with terrible battery life! I’m planning to upgrade to the Series 4 when it comes out. Hopefully it’ll last a little longer. :)

@ronguest @becky I got S3, but I kept S0 for sleep tracking/alarm clock while S3 syncs/charges overnight, and it still feels valuable that way. The thing is, by calling the 2nd gen “Series 1,” I think Apple meant S1+ will last longer, but “0” is probably gonna get left behind.

@becky @ronguest I’ve noticed a significant increase in battery life since removing the Siri watchface. I never used it but had it as an option, just a swipe away.

@ablaze Wait. You have a Day Watch and Night Watch?

@dbreunig I mean, in the sense that someone who didn't throw their old phone in a drawer has a day phone and a night phone, yes.

@ablaze I'd like to know if there's a use case for wearing both like an old-timey illicit watch dealer.

@dbreunig That is definitely how I roll

@colinwalker I used to use that but ultimately decided it was a bit annoying and a battery drain. But I had not deleted it. So far the only think I found that helped was rebooting the watch periodically.

@becky When my Series 0 battery died last summer Apple replaced it with a Series 1 for $80, the price of the battery. Always an option.

@becky It’ll past MUCH longer. In the fall I went from Series 0 and 3. It was an insane change. I can go 2 days most days while wearing my watch to sleep before charging it

@ablaze I’m going to turn my Series 0 into a pocket watch

@fahrni @becky When my series zero became unusable this year Apple replaced it with a newly manufactured series zero for £240. So maybe not always an option...
