@nitinkhanna yeah. But after years of living through the pains of self-hosting these big platforms (WordPress, Ghost etc), I've lost all interest in maintaining the infra. Hence, WordPress.com is interesting.
@amit Maintaining the infra? You need to set it and forget it man! I touch mine maybe once a year. With backups, if something really bad happens - a hack or something - I just nuke it and recreate it and move on!
But to each their own. I hope WordPress.com works out for you!

I find many opportunities to tinker with the setup and then I spend too much time doing that. Have also lost posts and blog even at times. Don't want to give myself that opportunity any more.
