I felt like I needed to refresh my home screen in a practical way. So I looked at Screen Time’s “Top apps after pick up” and “Most time in app” lists in order from bottom right to top left. The most used apps are the most access for my thumb (ex: Slack, Messages and Spark)

@EddieHinkle two questions, good sir - 1. How do I see top apps after pickup? I can’t seem to see that option. I do see total pickups and most pickups in a 7 day period.

1. Why do you have Overland in your dock? I always have it running in background and don’t see any need to open it. Do you often record mode of transport?

@nitinkhanna When I look at screen time, I see a chart with total hours by category, then a list of most used apps by time, then a chart Pick Ups per day, then a list of first used apps after pickup, then a chart of number of notifications per day, finally a list of the top apps by number of notifications.

@nitinkhanna Yeah, I have Overland in my dock for starting/stopping walking and driving trips.Overland and Drafts weren’t actually on my most used apps but I wanted to keep them in my dock.

@EddieHinkle huh. I'm missing the first used apps after pickup thing, between the pickups chart and notifications chart (while I do see the top apps by notifications). That's irritating! Wait, I'm on iOS 12.0. Are you on the 12.3.x latest?

@EddieHinkle how often do you go back and review your data in compass?

@nitinkhanna Yeah, I’m on 12.3.x latest (12.3.1 currently). I stay very up to date, so it might have been introduced in 12.2 or 12.3. I know it’s been there for awhile, but could have been 12.2

@nitinkhanna I don’t review it in Compass often right now, but my website does pull the location data from it for post geolocation, etc. I am also wanting to build an app that analyzes a day’s data to find locations I’ve stopped and try to auto-analyze trip data.
