Apple is building major defense against spam calls
”iOS 13 will allow calls to ring your phone from numbers in Contacts, Mail, and Messages and route any number that can’t be found in one of those places to voicemail.
That setting goes on as soon as I get iOS13.
@nitinkhanna i know right .... it's close to what I do already - but this stops it actually ringing at all.
@JohnPhilpin I hate that currently, unknown numbers are allowed to disrupt us so much, and cutting the ring prematurely is potentially a signal to the software on the other end that a real person might have this number.
