re: the previous ask - the correct solution is to use kill-the-newsletter.com but I'm lazy and want a solution for newsletters that already land in my inbox. :D
@nitinkhanna You could just forward the newsletters to Kill the Newsletter. Either manually or by setting up automatic forwarding.
@sod I don’t think Kill the Newsletter works like that. I mean, I’d still have to setup an email per newsletter for KTN to consume.
Someone else somewhere else gave me the solution - Instapaper has a secret email too! I’ve setup forwarding to it for all the pesky newsletters!
@nitinkhanna Yeah, it definitely comes across that way based on the copy on the site. But Kill the Newsletter is really just an email to Atom feed service. Sure, you can set up one email address per newsletter. But you don't have to.
You can also have one inbox for all your newsletters. And it's not just for newsletters either, any mail forwarded to the address will appear in the Atom feed.
Instapaper sounds like a great alternative as-well.
@sod that’s a good analysis. I will definitely consider doing that if the Instapaper pipeline doesn’t satisfy me. Thanks for looking at KTN!
