Hm. I am translating an Indy-RPG as a present for my son (English to German). I offer the translation to the original author since “why not”. Now they want to pay me. Since I am not a pro and giving it to them is a byproduct of something I did anyways. For how much should I ask?

@nielsk I asked a friend who does German translation. She says games are a different animal than text translation and you could ask what people are charging on the ProZ.com forum. 🙂
