@adders My kids have been having a lot of fun typing stories on my typewriters this last week—I feel like it has finally given me a good answer to my spouse's occasional "Why do you need another typerwriter again?" question.

@adders @paulcraig901 @petebrown My mother taught typing and I learned it from her but to the best of my recollection she didn’t own a typewriter. She also taught shorthand but I didn’t learn that.
