@ndreas I’m using Bear for my long form writing. However, Bear doesn’t have any publishing support which really isn’t a concern in my case. My blog posts never graduate from draft status anyway. 😄

When I want to publish a post, I just copy-paste the post from Bear into a Micro.blog client.

I’ve tried iA Writer and MarsEdit and they work alright and do just what you would expect them to do. It’s just that I’m more comfy writing in Bear.

@pimoore thank you! I’ve never used Ulysses, I got IA writer and are using that sometimes.

using IA Writer sometimes (which have publish support for MB) but I tend to forget about it. Sometimes
I’m writing just in the Apple Notes app.

@maique tried Drafts after your recommendation earlier but I think it’s too complex and hard to understand.

@maique can you publish directly from Drafts to MB? In that case, how do I make that setting?
