A lot of a individual creator newsletters are basically a week’s worth of old-style blogging (lots of links with context, a bit of analysis, a hot take or two, with some personal life stuff mixed in), stuck in an email and sent.

Not a good or a bad thing, just an observation.

@adders It must be a matter of time before the old school blogs return to the news organizations? Maybe put behind pay walls, but still.

@adders Certainly true of my little newsletter, though it's a month's worth, not a week's worth. I like being able to edit and arrange things rather than firing off individual (maybe ill-considered) items as they come to mind. In short, it works better than blogging for me.
