Barber Time
Today I thought about barbers, and barbershops, and how I love to get a haircut whenever I’m in a new place.
Looked for the photos and realized I have missed a TON of opportunities!
I should have taken a photo at all of them, and I did not.

This was an epic one! The gentleman, and barbershop, was called Miguelito! I could not have missed this one, right!?

@maique I love barbershops. And your photos are great. I went to an old place in Dubrovnik, Croatia, once. Had my hair cut by a drunk old man who had a bunch of relatives and friends just hanging around in there yelling and shouting at each other. A great experience.
@ajennische Sounds like it was amazing, one I’d love to experience. Don’t think I’ve ever had my hair done by a drunken barber, but I’ve had a couple of drinks while getting a haircut. These days so many of the barbers also have a bar or, at least, a well stocked fridge. In town I always try to go to the same one, I love him, and he has great beer stashed in one.
@maique that sounds wonderful. In Sweden the law forbid barbers and other shops serving alcohol. You can only buy drinks at restaurants, some cafes and certain trains and boats. And you can only buy alcohol for bringing it home at a certain state controlled shop called Systembolaget.
@ajennische I had forgotten about that! We don't have that 😊 During the city festivities, as a way to make money, you'll spot the oddest thing: some people will fill a (washed) plastic trash can, about waist high, with ice and beer. They'll go around selling it 😊
