@JohnPhilpin Well, there's the American Revolution. I don't think it was justified, but I'd have been in a minority then and am probably in a much smaller minority now.
I know this sounds facetious given the threat of political violence now, which scares me too, but I do want to note that we can switch gears pretty quickly regarding violence.
