@bapsi I really enjoyed it.

It is a wide-ranging general discussion of diaries. The author writes about what is a diary, how they can be useful, how they have been used in the past, why we read other’s diaries, things to consider when donating your diary. There is even a chapter discussing why some people destroyed their old diaries.

Lots of references to diaries I still need to look up and read, as well as some academic references I’d like to read.

@narrator oh man, that sounds great. I’m especially interested in reading the perspectives of people who choose to destroy their diaries. That’s a concept that gives me so much stress lol

@bapsi Yeah, I’m right there with you. Some find it cathartic, which with some of mine I could see, but I still can’t bring myself to destroy them.
