@crossingthethreshold In mid 2020, a couple of months after the pandemic started and I was going to be working from home, doing lots of video and audio editing, I got a 16” MB Pro. I maxed it out. @crossingthethreshold I’m thinking through some of the same things. Our only Mac is an ancient iMac. I’ve been thinking of replacing it with a MacBook. But, the new iPads and iPadOS 26 really seem like a good substitute. At this point, our iMac is basically just a Backblaze machine. Everything else is currently possible with iPhones and iPads. And, yet, I’ve had a Mac since 1997. Would seem strange to not have one anymore!
