I would really like to read this - but no Economist subscription - and I know if I do the free month trial - it will take an inordinate amount of time to unsubscribe. Can anyone help?

@JohnPhilpin I have unsubscribed and re-subscribed multiple times over the past decade. The current process for unsubscribing isn't too bad; they'll try to make an offer before completing the process but I've never spoken to a bad agent.

Worth remembering: I've only ever done this in the UK and have no idea if they handle things differently elsewhere.

@JohnPhilpin I used their chat widget. It was less annoying than a call in some ways but I have had to do a call in the past and even that wasn't bad.
