@AlanGMarz that’s a fair assessment. I liked the first half or so of Picard; nostalgia for the characters got me through the rest. I would have preferred that they just did one season, basically to fix what they did with Nemesis.

As for Discovery, I watch it because it is Star Trek, otherwise I likely wouldn’t bother. I like where they finally got to at the end of Season 3 and hope Season 4 is more episodic, rather than a season-long arc.
