@Annie I had to do this recently for my kid. It is awful and a racket. The College Board for the SAT was somehow even worse? Complain on!

@Annie Oh, and don’t get me started on the “sitting fee” for mandatory Senior Pictures. $30 just for the privilege of a mediocre picture in the yearbooks and getting the chance to order an $80 print?

@kalikambo there are times I really love being able to manage stuff online rather than phone call / in person... But so much of this stuff would be way simpler with a simple phone call and a paper form. it's most frustrating when it's all digital, somehow connected (eg all linked to the same school id) but that still doesn't remove the form-filling labor, somehow. ugh.

@jasonekratz oh good god almighty. the application process we did last year for my oldest was a bear but i'm sure not nearly as bad. trying not to think about starting that process up again in about a month for next child in the line.

@annie Oh yikes! I didn’t take the ACT. But for SAT and AP tests, I’m glad I was a few years before that was done totally online and in apps. I still paid for the SAT online but most of the paperwork was…paper, returned to the guidance counselor at school.
