No Oppenheimer on 70mm film in Scotland this time. Would I drive to Manchester to see it in IMAX 70mm 15perf? I believe I totally would.
@alexsavin At least it‘s “reasonable” for you to do that… Only one cine in the CR, one in Manchester, and the BFI in London will show the 15 perf / 70mm print, no? And even to see a non-IMAX 70mm I‘d have to travel very far ):
@alexsavin 70mm infrastructure is in a sad state anyway, but this might also have something to do with it this time:
@moritz Yeah as far as I can see 70mm/15perf prints are very rare, but sure, I can drive to Manchester in under 5 hours haha. Still totally worth it. Edinburgh got its own IMAX, but digital only unfortunately.
