I’ve come to realise the reason I have been ambivalent about the potential of a “timeline sync” feature on Micro.blog is that I have long lost any and all desire to allow a timeline to dictate how I spend my time. I do not need to completely read everything; this isn’t work.
@SimonWoods Same for me. If anything's really too important to check, that's what the Feed reader is for. Micro-timelines could be best looked at as a mix of known and serendipitous interactions.
@moonmehta @rcrackley Yep, exactly. I'll be happy for people when they get the feature, however I hope to have it as an option that I can keep switched off.
