My first experiment with my new cast iron frypan was Rosa Parks' Heirloom Recipe "Featherlite Pancakes" | The Ironclad Co.. The recipe made about 6 American-style (thick) pancakes which tasted pretty good.

@Miraz That looks like a very handy pan size. Are you cooking on gas?

@mmetcalfe That pan’s 20cm in diameter. We have an induction cooktop.

@Miraz I didn’t know that you could use cast iron pans on induction cookers. I think a 20cm pan is the “perfect pan”. It’s not too heavy, holds a realistic amount of food, and fits on a normal person’s cooker!

@mmetcalfe It’s definitely a good size. The stainless steel pan I’ve been using mostly till now is the same size. Great size for eggs and similar.
