Came across ‘MJML’ - which ‘suggests’ that it is a markup language for email. Have I understood correctly? It seems to be focussed on bulk email - not the ‘casual’ user. I already run a Drafts action that allows me to write a drafts in Markup - and then it moves it to Spark/MacMail … is it worth spending... john.philpin.com

@JohnPhilpin No idea about MJML, but I use MailMate on the Mac, which lets you compose in Markdown natively.

@JohnPhilpin @devilgate Depends what the use case is. I second MailMate. I don't feel the need to send emails that look like marketing spam. I like the workflow of composing elsewhere, and often use Drafts to start an email that is going to end up more than a couple of lines.

@devilgate thankyou - have looked at MailMate in the past - markdown support is something I didn't know it had.

@mmetcalfe typically what I do … muscle memory is such that markdown for me is everywhere … except email … hence would like my email to natively support markdown .. but I’ll live!
