@mjkaul Loving it. Bill Evans’s Village Vanguard recordings are among my favorite jazz albums, and this might be moving ahead of them for me. Also, I can’t get enough of these Kevin Gray remasters. They all sound fantastic. (BTW I found this interesting interview with Kevin Gray, where he discusses his profound conversion, among other things.)

The Village Vanguard sessions will always be my favorite Evans, both because my dad loved them so much that they pretty much were music for me growing up, & because they’re the final recordings of Scott LeFaro’s playing.
@mjkaul Yes, it’s the only LeFaro I’ve heard but quite impressive. In honor of your comment, the Complete Village Vanguard recordings made my full morning work session soundtrack.
