@smith I agree! What are you favorite open backed headphones? Mine (any the only ones I have) are the HifiMan Sundara. (I love planars.) They have superseded my closed back planars and everything else for most of my listening.
@smith I love the looks of the HD 600s, but I’ve never been able to try them. I’m happy you like them.
Do you find that you need an amp to drive them? That’s what I have found with my planars.
I wish I had known about (good) open backed headphones earlier. I thought that sound leakage would be a problem for me (I have little kids who may be asleep while I’m listening), but it isn’t a problem at all.
@mjdescy Ooops! Barely seeing this response. Sorry! I use a Universal Audio Arrow as my audio interface. I'm pretty happy with that setup.
