🍿 The Matrix (1999) was as over-the-top cool as I remembered it, though younger generations will now apparently use the word “cringe”. OK, zoomer.
@miljko It's so tightly executed! The gradual revelation sequence in the beginning, where we see Neo wake up (in various ways) repeatedly. First-rate moviemaking. The sequels were a serious disappointment.
@JohnBrady “Tight” is an excellent way to describe it, and a great contrast to some less-than-tight works I’ve seen recently (Christopher Nolan’s).
