Now that I’ve paid for a year of Cloudron, I’ve been installing apps willy nilly, just for kicks. One app that’s been surprisingly sticky is Monica, a personal CRM. I have a dozen ways to take notes about people, but I kind of like the structure and constraints of Monica.

@jack hey, I've been using Cloudron recently too. It's such a great piece of software! I'm thinking of moving all of my projects to it. :)

@mdrockwell It does kind of make me want to self-host everything even though I often regret it. Cloudron makes regret less likely though. It does a great job keeping things updated, etc.

@jack same. I have found Cloudron's support team and forums in general to be incredibly responsive, too. I reported a couple issues and the pushed an update to the apps that fixed the problem in less than a day.

@jack How are you doing the actual hosting?

@frankm I spun up a Digital Ocean instance for it. They have a pre-built image with all the Cloudron stuff already installed.
