I think I’ve hit my personal limit for “it’s been a whole month and the world hasn’t been fixed yet, everything is a lie” howling I know I should avoid either dwelling on or, worse, responding to, so I’m moving Twitter back off the Home Screen for a while.
@chipotle I’m this close to deleting my Twitter apps entirely. Quite frankly I’m tired of seeing them and having that little feeling I’m missing out on something, when I know the truth is exactly the opposite.
@peterimoore Mailbrew with a private, highly-curated list of users and bury the app deep in a folder. That’s been my strategy, I haven’t launched the app without a specific intention yet.
@Pilchuck @mdrockwell I’ve already brought over a handful of accounts into RSS, so that’s the same idea as a curated list which is really appealing. I still want to syndicate on Twitter so I can promote my writing, so maybe I’ll try the bury approach first before a nuclear one.
