@mdrockwell a product search engine that indexes *only* stores that let you purchase with Apple Pay would probably be an excellent start. And the ease of checkout would match or exceed the experience on Amazon (which is kind of what I'm looking to replace).

Is there a products search engine that indexes a curated list of the best 200 or so online stores? It should have some sort of verification process to ensure each source has good customer service, good pricing, fast and inexpensive shipping.

If that doesn’t exist, it should.
