Has anyone switched from 1Password back to macOS Keychain?

@cdevroe I saw this post from Simon Stovring back in November about exactly this.

@cdevroe not yet, but if rumors of Apple making a standalone password app instead of keeping it in settings are true I may switch. Especially if they start offering extensions for other browsers on the Mac.

@shep oooo I didn’t see those rumors. That would be nice.

@SamHawken I am going to try it for a few things and see how it goes.

@cdevroe Keychain not supporting multiple URL’s for the same account, was a deal breaker for me. Hopefully that comes soon.

@mcg Explain multiple URLs?

@cdevroe Yep. It's not as fully featured but I'm attempting to care less about that and have it be what it really ought to; a utility, just another feature of the system.

@SimonWoods I was just wondering what you meant. I am wondering what multiple URLs means? So, a single login that would have more than one URL?

@cdevroe This was meant for @mcg?

I was answering your original post -- yet again proving that Micro.blog could do with some nested replies and/or indicators as to which replies belong where.

@SimonWoods @cdevroe It also needs more reliable notifications, as I am just seeing the “Why multiple” question :-) Anyhow, frequently a service uses the same login info but a different URL. Mostly in corporate environments I guess. Right now I have 7 URL’s related to my work o365 login.

@mcg To revisit this thread from May, one thing I've done is add the ROOT domain for most sites. This way it will work on all subdomains.
