Are the people who decide to keep this Daylight Savings Time thing going all childless??

Or do they have to go through this mess twice a year with toddlers, and still think this is a brilliant idea?

@pimoore It’s day one after the change, and we were really close to a kid-up-after-midnight situation over here! She’s not 2 yet! 🤣🤣🤣

@maique We may soon stop doing the switch in the the US, but of course they picked the least good option and plan to stay on Savings time year round.

@mcg @maique There’s a reason why all the countries that aren’t doing this pointless crap are on standard time…

Because it’s the standard.

Daylight Savings is the one that should be eliminated everywhere.

@pimoore @maique @mcg Even I hate what Daylight Savings does to people's routine -- something I realised some 12 years back. I am sure it's the worst solution for a manageable problem ;)

@amit @maique @mcg Agreed, the fact that evening and darkness doesn’t show up until close to 9:30 here in the peak of summer, is horrible for sleep hygiene and health in every possible way. I already despise summer for being stifling, but now I get to be not sleepy and stifling.

@maique look, I’m not saying Portugal isn’t great (it is) or that it isn’t better than Arizona (it is, obviously), but—and I’m just saying—we don’t do Daylight Savings but remain on Mountain Standard year-round.
