@help My automatic backup of my blog to github still doesn't work. This repo had been configured a while ago, but no posts show up: github.com/finn-matt...

@tkoola @matti @help Add me to this list as well, it hasn’t ever worked for some reason.

@matti @tkoola I see the GitHub problem... The GitHub setting in Micro.blog needs to just be the name of the repository, not the full URL. If you update it, it should start working. I'll improve Micro.blog to better handle this in the future.

@help I’ve never had this work as well. Can you provide an example of what you mean by repo name here?

@mcg Take a look at the Micro.blog GitHub organisation. For example, "Sunlit" is at the top there; in this case, you would put sunlit in your Micro.blog account settings.

@help @matti thanks 👍

@mcg It should be set to the name of the repository, e.g. "example" if the URL is github.com/username/example. Micro.blog will already know your GitHub username after authorizing. (I'm going to make this less confusing in an update.)

@help thanks! If you happen to touch this area: Maybe the „Design“ section is also not the right place for this stuff? 😉 Would love a checkmark or something that shows the repo name is valid and micro.blog can do something with it.

@matti Yeah. Seem like an Account setting rather than Design. And @help thanks for the help.

@help When should the GitHub archive update? I changed my repo name as suggested and still nothing.

@mcg It only updates the GitHub archive once a week... If it hasn't pushed the changes to GitHub soon, let me know.
