For years a youngish person with mental health issues messaged me on Tumblr almost every day. He was into One Piece. Over time he got into cosplay, had various jobs, helped his grandma with her garden but also talked about committing violence or suicide. I tried to be a positive influence, never asked anything personal.

Now I haven't heard from him in months. His last message was, "The universe is calling. That's all I'll say."

I can't find out what happened. I never even learned his name.
